This is a suitable place for those of you who like to go kepantai. The name of this beach is a beach parangtritis. Parangtritis located 27 km south of the city of Yogyakarta and easily accessible by public transportation that operates until 17:00 pk or by using a personal vehicle. Just before sunset is the best time to visit this beach. But if you arrive more quickly, it never hurts to go up to Cliff Gembirawati behind this beach. From there we could see the whole area Parangtritis, south sea, up to the boundary horizon.
Not many people know that in the east of this cliff hidden a ruined temple. Unlike the other temples are located in mountainous areas, Temple Gembirawati only a few hundred meters from the lip Parangtritis. To go to this temple, you can pass the ramp near Hotel Queen of the South and then go up the path to the west about 100 meters.
