HITT’s Hyun Joon creates chatter for his strong resemblance to SuJu’s Kyuhyun

HITT’s Hyun Joon has snagged netizens’ attention, thanks to his striking resemblance to Super Junior’s Kyuhyun.
Photos of the two were shared on online community boards, leading netizens to jokingly question whether he was Kyuhyun’s hidden young brother. Some commented, “Super Junior’s coming back soon, so we’ll be able to see them on stage together”, and “Is he his hidden brother?”
Representatives of HITT’s agency replied, “Hyun Joon has often been mistaken for Kyuhyun, even before his debut. Not only that, but their last names are also Cho.”
Although rookies, HITT recently headlined for ranking in at the top 50 on Germany’s VIVA Chart, the fifth Korean musician to ever do so.

Brave Girls reveal their sexy bikini comeback concept

The Brave Girls have finally released some concept photos for their ‘reggae comeback’ this month with their new mini-album, “Back to da Future“!
Pictures of Eun Young and Yejin sporting a sexy ‘bikini look’ were shared on the girls’ official Twitter. The girls seem to be continuing their chic and confident debut image, but with a sexier twist this time.
Netizens are definitely enjoying the new look, as they left comments like, “It’s very out there!”, “The queen of bagles, Eun Young”, “Definitely the Miss Korea idol right there”, and “Looking forward to see what their other concepts will be like.”
Brave Entertainment revealed, “Like we said previously, the girls will be coming back with a reggae concept. This time, we’re showing off a sexy bikini look, which we’re sure will arouse the curiosity of fans. The concept will be unveiled on July 29th.”

YG Entertainment to debut an “SNSD-like” group next year

YG Entertainment has made an announcement that’s gaining major public interest! They’ve announced that they are currently in the works of putting together a charming and talented girl group; one that will be like SNSD, but with some YG flair.
During his recent interview with StarIn, Yang Hyun Suk stated, “We have plans to debut new artists before the third quarter of next year.” He added that of those new artists, one will be “an attractive and talented girl group like SNSD, but with some YG flavor.”
YG Entertainment is home to major artists like Big Bang and 2NE1, and they’ve established themselves as one of Korea’s major entertainment labels. Before he went on to talk about his new girl group, Yang Hyun Suk revealed his process on how he chose which trainees to debut.
“When it comes to selecting the members, the ones who performed the best looked the most appealing, that’s all! (laughs)”. He continued, ”I think these days, there are a lot of young people who are extremely talented, and are also very attractive. …It took five years before Big Bang was able to make their first debut, but because these kids are so talented these days, and since all the studios have state-of-the-art technology, I believe it’ll be possible to produce a new group within two years.”
YG Entertainment currently hosts about 30 trainees, and he plans on debuting a few rookie groups towards mid-year 2012, one of which being the ‘YG SNSD’.
He assures, however, that the new groups will be different from anything YG has ever done, and that their style will not be anything like that of Big Bang’s or 2NE1’s.
He continued, “I like to try out new things that others have yet to, and if you take a look at all the groups that YG has produced (such as Big Mama, Gummy, Se7en, Big Bang, or 2Ne1), all of their styles are unique. It’ll be no different for these new artists.”
Yang Hyun Suk was at one point one of the members of the legendary “Seo Taiji & Boys“. When asked if he missed being on stage, he replied, “I actually don’t miss it… I enjoy seeing our groups on stage more and working behind the scenes to make the stage possible for them. This is more me.”
YG smiled contently as he ended, “I love each of our YG groups; they’re like my own children. Everyday I ponder upon how I can “raise” them better and how I can create the next best idol group… it’s fun.”

Hwanhee releases comeback MV teaser for “I Feel Like I’m Going to Die”

Actor Lee Jang Woo has set out to support the comeback of his cousin, Hwanhee!
On July 27th, the MV teaser for the title track of Hwanhee’s first official album, “I Feel Like I’m Going to Die“, was released online, featuring tension-filled scenes with Lee Jang Woo. He was revealed to have canceled all of his schedules so he could support his cousin’s comeback.
Departing from his smooth image on MBC’s ‘We Got Married‘, Lee Jang Woo is back to his rugged roots as an actor; the teaser shows him in great mentally anguish, as he sheds tears over the loss of his lover.
Representatives of Hwanhee’s agency, H-Entercom revealed, “Lee Jang Woo added weight to the music video with his charismatic acting.”
Hwanhee’s album, “HWANHEE“, will be released on July 29th.

miss A’s behind the scenes video for “Good Bye Baby” MV revealed

Behind the scenes footage from the music video of miss A’s new song “Good Bye Baby” was recently revealed. Although the girls showed tough charisma in the actual music video, you can see instances of them goofing off on set and showing off their cute personalities as they do many random things between takes.
When the cameras start rolling, these girls snap right back into fierce mode. When the cameras stop, the girls return to doing their silly things.
At one point, they’re watching themselves dance on screen through 3D glasses. Fei says, “This is so fascinating. It’s like we’re popping out,” causing Min to have a cute laugh.
A little later, Fei says, “They listen to me very well,” because all four girls automatically posed for a picture after she counted to three.
While three girls later show signs of sympathy towards the male actor because he is drenching wet from his tank scenes, Jia is excitedly clapping on her own. Most likely, she is applauding his efforts and all four agree that he is a talented actor.
In the end, Jia thanks everyone for putting in a lot of effort for their music video. Actor Kim Nam Jin says he is a fan and hopes the girls do well on their promotions.

Brave Girls’ comeback track was inspired by Kim Gun Mo

Hit producer Brave Brothers will be paying homage to senior vocalist Kim Gun Mo through Brave Girls‘ upcoming song.
On July 24th, Brave Brothers tweeted, “The Brave Girls will be making their return with a reggae track soon. While working on their song, I listened to Kim Gun Mo senior’s ‘Excuse‘ a lot, and every time I listened to it, I couldn’t help but feel awe. Anyway, I hope that you all take an interest in Brave Girls’ reggae transformation.”
Representatives further revealed, “The Brave Girls’ will be making a comeback with a new reggae song as a homage to Kim Gun Mo’s ‘Excuse’.”

2NE1 is the best in Germany?

2NE1 is on ‘fire‘ in Germany.
2NE1 has recently taken the number 1 spot with “I Am the Best” on the VIVA Online Clip Chart, a popular music website in Germany.
The song took the number 1 spot as soon as it was released on all major Korean music charts, as well as ranking number 2 as the ‘Most Viewed’ video on Youtube.
Along with 2NE1, MBLAQ placed number 2 on the chart with “Mona Lisa“, and B2ST, who also received much attention by being the first Korean artist to enter the VIVA Online Clip Chart, rose to number 3 on the chart.
In related news, 2NE1 will be having their first solo concert at the Olympic Hall on August 27th and 28th.
